Colm Campbell was selected on the Irish Men’s Home Internationals that took place at Murcar Links, Scotland between 7th and 9th August 2024. The others on the team were Paul Coughlan (Castleknock Golf Club), Hugh Foley (The Royal Dublin Golf Club), Ryan Griffin (Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club), Thomas Higgins (Roscommon Golf Club), Josh Hill (Galgorm Castle Golf Club), Sean Keeling (Roganstown Golf Club), Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club) and Luke O'Neill (Connemara) they were managed by Damien Coyne from Tuam Golf Club, coached by Michael Collins and captained by Niall MacSweeney from Athenry Golf Club. 

Colm Campbell was selected on the Irish Mid-Amateur Team Championship to represent Ireland at Golf de Chiberta, France on 11th to 14th September 2024. Other members of the team were Paul Coughlan (Castleknock Golf Club), Brian Doran (Millicent Golf Club) and TJ Ford (Co Sligo Golf Club) and they were Captained by Niall MacSweeney from Athenry Golf Club.

Colm Campbell was selected on the Ulster Interprovincial team played at PGA Slieve Rusell Golf Club from 3rd to 5th July 2024. Others on the team were Aaron Marshall (Lisburn Golf Club), Seamus Cullen and Shane McDermott (Slieve Russell Golf Club), Adam Buchanan (Royal Portrush Golf Club), Luke Kelly (Dunfanaghey Golf Club), Ross Latimer (Clandeboye Golf Club) and Dwayne Mallon (Dungannon Golf Club) they were captained by Peter Waddell from Knock Golf Club.

Colm Campbell was selected to play at the Home Internationals at Machynys, Wales between 9th to the11th August 2023, the others on the team were Marc Boucher (Carton House Golf Club), Paul Conroy (Enniscorthy Golf Club), Max Kennedy (Royal Dublin Golf Club), Alex Maguire (Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club), Robert Moran (Castle Golf Club), Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club), Caolan Rafferty (Dundalk Golf Club) and David Shiel (Enniscrone Golf Club) they were coached by Michael Collins and John McKinstry from Cairndhu Golf Club and captained by Niall Mac Sweeney from Athenry Golf Club.

Warrenpoint Golf Club were Runners-Up in the Quarterfinals of the Irish Mixed Foursomes at Mannan Castle Golf Club on Friday 25th August 2023 when they lost out to Ballinasloe by 3-matches to 2-matches.
In the top match Rian Carvill with Aileen O’Connor won their match against Gavan Hayes with Jacqueline Cunningham by 3 and 2, they were followed by Michael McGurk with Mary Bell who lost their match against Ciaran Smyth with Enda Jennings by 3 and 2, next on the tee was Jack Campbell with Lyn Curtis who lost their match by the minimum against Aidan Grenham with Lena Donoghue, in the penultimate match Vincent Toner with Brenda Hughes had a confortable 6 and 4 win against Jamie Corbett with Katie Connolly and in the bottom match David Graham with Fiona McNulty lost their match against Mark Conneely with Noreen Kenny by 6 and 5.     

Warrenpoint Golf Club were Runners-Up in the Ulster South Final of the Irish Junior Cup at Rossmore Golf Club on Sunday 20th August 2023 when they went down to Clandeboye Golf Club by 3-matches to 2-matches.
First on the tee was Jack Campbell who won his match by 2 and 1 against Ryan Navan, he was followed by Vincy Tones who had a similar result against David Alderdice, next on the tee was Eoin Durkin who lost his match against Ian Smyth by 2 and 1, in the penultimate match Jack Murtagh lost by the minimum against Michael McCord and in the bottom match Nial McGivern lost by 2-holes against Bailie Quinn.

Harry McArdle was selected on the Irish Boys’ team for the Fairhaven Trophies at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lythan Saint Annes, UK that took place from Friday 28th April to Sunday 30th April 2023 the others on the squad were Adam Buchanan (Royal Portrush Golf Club), Sean Cooper (Enniscorthy Golf Club), Donnacha Cleary (Tipperary Golf Club) and Mark Gazi (Tralee Golf Club) they were coached by Johnny Foster and managed by Brenda Craig.

Young Harry McArdle was selected on the Ulster Under-18 Interprovincial Team played at Ballykisteen Golf Club on 21st and 22nd August 2023.
The other members of the team were Noah Bickerstaff (Massereen Golf Club), Adam Buchanan (Royal Portrush Golf Club), Fionn Dobbin (Malone Golf Club), Finlay Eager (Royal Belfast Golf Club), Darcy Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club) and Corey Scullion (Moyola Park Golf Club).
They were Captained by Jeff Forde (Tandragee Golf Club) and Managed by Trevor Lewers (Portstewart Golf Club).

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Mixed Foursomes Final at Athlone Golf Club when they met Portumna Golf Club in the All-Ireland Decider on Thursday 31st September 2022 they beat the County Galway Club by 3½-matches to 1½-matches.
They were led out by Rian Carvill with Aileen O’Connor who clinched the first point on the 20th against Gerard Lynch with Mary McElroy, they were followed by Michael McGurk with Mary Bell who had a 4 and 2 win against Pat Quinlan with Bernie Kilmartin, next on the tee was Shane McMahon with Brenda Hughes who lost out to Alan Page with Ann Hynes by 3 and 2, the penultimate match of Vincent Toner with Lynn Curtis was halved against James McLoughlin with Celine Cleary when called-in in the bottom match Eoin Durkin with Fiona McNulty had a confortable 4 and 3 win against Michael Flanagan with Collette Fahy and with it the green pennant.
They met Milltown Golf Club the previous day in the All-Ireland Semi-Final and beat the South Dublin Club by 3-matches to 2-matches.
Rian Carvill with Aileen O’Connor led them out against Michael O’Farrell with Lead Bolger and pot the first point on the board with a 4 and 3 win, next up was Michael McGurk with Mary Bell who lost their match by the minimum against James Moore with Margaret Shaw, they were followed by Shane McMahon with Brenda Hughes who had a most convincing 6 and 5 win against Stephen Sheehan with Chloe Carton, in the penultimate match Vincent Toner with Lynn Curtis had a 1-hole win against Michael Doran with Julie Hogan and in the bottom match Eoin Durkin with Fiona McNulty lost out by 3 and 1 against J. P. McDowell with Karen Harvey.  
On Tuesday 29th September, they were drawn against Glengarriff Golf Club in the All-Ireland Quarter Finals and had a confortable 4-matches to 1-match against the West-Cork Club.
As always Rian Carvill with Aileen O’Connor led them out and put up a 4 and 3 win against Martin O’Sullivan with Frances Holland, they were followed by Michael McGurk with Mary Bell who had a 2 and 1 win against Kevin O’Sullivan with Kathleen Bilous, the match of Shane McMahon with Brenda Hughes against Noel Moynihan with Maria Carroll was halved when called-in, in the penultimate match Vincent Toner with Lynn Curtis had a 2 and 1 win against Paul Dineen with Fionnuala O’Leary and the bottom match of Eoin Durkin with Fiona McNulty was halved against David O’Sullivan with Niamh Twomey when called-in.

Colm Campbell was selected on the Irish Team for the Home Internationals to be played at Ballyliffin Golf Club on 3rd to 5th August 2022, the other members on the squad were Robert Brazill (Naas Golf Club), Hugh Foley (The Royal Dublin Golf Club), Matt McClean (Malone Golf Club), Rob Moran (Castle Golf Club), Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club), Peter O’Keeffe (Douglas Golf Club), Mark Power (Kilkenny Golf Club) and Caolan Rafferty (Dundalk Golf Club) they were coached by Michael Collins, managed by John McKinstry from Cairndhu Golf Club and captained by Niall Mac Sweeney from Athenry Golf Club.

Harry McArdle was selected on the Irish Underage Team to play in the McGregor Trophy at Sherwood Forest, England from 12th to the 14th July 2022 the others on the squad were Donnacha Cleary (Tipperary Golf Club), Sean Cooper (Enniscorthy Golf Club), Mark Gazi (Tralee Golf Club), Evan Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club) and Sean Reddy (Douglas Golf Club) they were managed by Peter Waddell from Knock Golf Club and captained by Captain: Liam Troy from Thurles Golf Club.

Harry McArdle was selected on the Ulster Under-16 team to participate in the Interprovincial Championships at Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club from 18th and 19st July 2022, the others on the squad were Finlay Eager (Royal Belfast Golf Club), Charlie Smyth (Slieve Russell Golf Club), Evan Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Michael Wilson (Masseereen Golf Club) and Stuart Nesbitt (Royal Portrush Golf Club) the non-travelling reserve was Garrett Daly-Shaw (Holywood Golf Club) they were managed by Tiarnan McLarnon from Massereene Golf Club and captained by Trevor Lewers from Portstewart Golf Club.

Harry McArdle was selected on the Irish Boys’ Under-16 team for the Quadrangular Tournament at  Pyle & Kenfig, just north of Porthcawl, in Wales from12th to 14th April 2022, the other members on the squad were Donnacha Cleary (Tipperary Golf Club), John Doyle (Fota Island Golf Club), Mark Gazi (Tralee Golf Club), Evan Monaghan (Tullamore Golf Club) and Charlie Smyth (Slieve Russell Golf Club) they were coached by Paul Kiely and captained by Liam Troy from Thurles Golf Club.

Harry Mc Ardle was selected to represent Ulster on the Boys’ Under-16 Interprovincial Team at Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Resort on October 9th and 10th October 2021, the others on the squad were Adam Buchanan (Malone Golf Club), Corey Scullion (Moyola Park Golf Club), Michael Wilson and Noah Bickerstaff (Massereene Golf Club) and Samuel Allister (Belvoir Park Golf Club) they were managed by Ciaran Fitzsimons from Ardglass Golf Club and captained by Diarmuid Logue from Portsalon Golf Club.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Barton Shield at Royal Portrush Golf on 25th August 2019 when they beat Galgorm Castle Golf Club by 5-holes.
The first match of Paul Reavey with Rian Carvill lost by 1-hole against Michael Reid with Patrick Dallat, in the second match Colm Campbell Jnr. with Ryan Gribben had a comfortable 6-hole win over Jordan Hood with Joshua Hill.
They went to Westport Golf Club to compete in the All-Ireland Deciders. They met Munster Champions Limerick Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Friday 20th September and lost their match by 2-holes against the eventual champions.The top match of Paul Reavey with Rian Carvill lost their match against Ciaran Vaughan with Michael Reddan by 1-hole after 18 and the bottom match of Colm Campbell with Ryan Gribben where 1-down after 17 against Owen O’Brien with Justin Kehoe. Limerick went on to beat Co. Sligo Golf Club by 7-holes in the National Decider.  

Warrenpoint Golf Club recorded their 3rd All-Ireland win in the Barton Shield in 2017 at Carton House Golf Club on Friday22th September.
They beat Rosapenna Golf Club in the Ulster Final and made their way to Carton House Golf Club in Co. Kildare to participate in the All-Ireland deciders. They were drawn against Leinster Champions Castle Golf Club on Wednesday 20th September and recorded a 2-hole win over the Rathfarnham Club.
They were led out by Stephen Coulter with Paul Reavey who recorded a halve against Jack Walsh with Alan Lowry, they were followed by Colm Campbell Jnr. with Ryan Gribben who recorded a 2 and 1 win over Alex Gleeson with Robert Moran.

They met Connaught Champions Galway Golf Club in the All-Ireland Final the following day, Galway had accounted for Munster Champions Tralee Golf Club by 2-holes in their Semi-Final. This time they were led out again by Stephen Coulter with Paul Reavey against Joe Lyons with Luke O’Neill they were followed by Colm Campbell Jnr. with Ryan Gribben against Ronan Mullarney with Liam Power. Warrenpoint record a 4-hole victory to retain the Barton Shield.  

Warrenpoint Golf Club were runners-up in the Jimmy Bruen Shield when they went down to Connaught Champions Castlebar Golf Club by 3-matches to 2-matches at Carton House on Saturday 23rd September 2017
They were led out by Rian Carvvill with John Murray who had a 1-hole win over Shane Quigley with Johan Collins, next on the tee were Gerard Durkin with Shane Carr who lost their match against Kieran Horkan with Colin Dawson by 3 and 2, they were followed by Hudson McGuffin with Barry Laverty who recorded a 2 and 1 win over Michael Kilcourse with Dave Walsh, in the penultimate match went up the 19th before Tom Moylett together with Mark Corrigan secured the point for the Mayo team and in the bottom match Raymond Duffin with Eamon Rooney lost their match by 2-holes against Paddy Burke with Ray Prendergast.
They beat Leinster Champions Mountrath Golf Club in the Semi-Final and Cairndhu by 3-matches to 2-matches in the Ulster Decider. 

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Barton Shield at Carton House on Thursday 15th September 2016 when they beat Connacht Champions Galway Golf Club by 4-holes in the decider.

They beat Castlerock Golf Club by 6-holes in the Ulster Semi-Final and North West Golf Club in the decider by 4-holes.

They made the long journey to Carton House where they were drawn against Munster Champions Cork Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Wednesday 14th September and recorded a 2-hole win over the team from Little Island to clinch their place in the All-Ireland Final the following day.
Paul Reavey with Jamie Fletcher led them out against Brian Kelleher with Mark Ford and recorded a halve. They were followed by Colm Campbell with Stephen Coulter who had a 2-hole win over Paul Tobin with John Hickey.

They met Connacht Champions Galway Golf Club in the decider who had had a 1-hole win over the home team Carton House in their Semi-Final. They stayed with the same formation and Paul Reavey with Jamie Fletcher had a 2-hole win over Joe Lyons with Liam Power, Colm Campbell with Stephen Coulter had a similar result against Ronan Mullarney with Stephen Brady, to record their 6th victory in the Barton Shield.

Other members of the team were Paddy Gribben and William Hanna, they were Captained by Colm Campbell Snr. & Maurice McGivern.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Barton Shield when they beat Shandon Park Golf Club in the Provincial Final at Moyola Park Golf Club on Sunday 24th August 2014.

They made their way to Carton House to compete in the All-Ireland deciders on the O’Meara Course where they were drawn against Leinster Champions The Royal Dublin Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
They were led out by William Hanna with Stephen Coulter who beat Richard Knightly with Sean Ryan by 2-holes. They were followed by Colm Campbell with Ryan Gribben lost to Barry Anderson with Ian O'Rourke by 1-hole when the match ended on the 20th
They met Munster Champions Muskerry Golf Club who had a easy win over Connacht Champions Athenry Golf Club in their Semi-Final in the All-Ireland decider.
William Hanna with Stephen Coulter led them out again and lost by 5-holes to Niall Gorey with Dave O'Donovan, they were followed by Colm Campbell with Ryan Gribben who had a 2-hole win over Daniel Hallissey with John Waldron.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Irish Junior Cup on Sunday 10th August 2014 when they beat Greenisland Golf Club by 4-matches to 1-match.
They made the long journey to Carton House to compete in the All-Ireland deciders on the O’Meara Course where they were drawn against Leinster Champions Castle Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
They were led out by Paddy Magee who lost his match against Harry Gleeson by 2 and 1, he was followed by Jack Campbell who also lost his match by 2 and 1 against Ben Murray, next up was Shane McMahon who lost out to Fergal Walsh by 5 and 4, the bottom two matches of Michael McGurk against Kevin Moran and Stanley Weir against Gerry Moran were halved.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Irish Senior Cup when they beat Moyola Park by 3-matches to 2-matches at Portstewart Golf Club on Sunday 19th August 2012.

First on the tee was Colm Campbell who beat P. O’Kane on the 19th next up was David Barron who lost to Randal Evens by 3 and 2. He was followed by Paddy Gribben who was narrowly defeated by 1-hole by Luke Lennox. The penultimate match of Stephen Coulter against Mark Waters went 2 and 1 to the Co. Down club, in the bottom match Ryan Gribbin had a 2 and 1 win over Damien McCusker and with it their ticket to the National Finals in Kinsale.
They made the long journey to Kinsale Golf Club to compete in the All-Ireland deciders on Friday 21st September when they were drawn against Munster champions Tramore Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Finals.
First on the tee was Colm Campbell Jnr. who beat Peter Power by 5 and 4, next up was P. Reavet who lost out to Chris Butler by the minimum 1-hole, he was followed by Paddy Gribben who went up the 19th before securing the point against Alan Thomas. In the penultimate match Stephen Coulter beat Rabin Dawson on the 19th and with it their place in the All-Ireland decider; the bottom match of Ryan Gribben was halved against David Kelly.
They met Leinster Champions Castle Golf Club the following morning and were led again by Colm Campbell Jnr. who had a 1-hole win over James Hanby, he was followed by David Barron who lost out to Conor Deegan by 2 and 1, next up was Paddy Gribben who had a 2-hole win over Alex Gleeson. In the penultimate match Stephen Coulter lost out to Jack Walsh by 2 and 1, it was all down to the bottom match to decide where the green pennant would go, the match between Ryan Gribben and Daniel Holland went all the way to the 18th before the match was decided with a 2-hole win for the Rathfarnham Club. 

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Final of the Barton Shield at Castleknock Golf Club in September 2011. They won the Ulster Final when they beat Dunmurry Golf Club on Sunday 7th August by 1-hole.

They made their way to Castlerock Golf Club to compete in the All-Ireland deciders the following September. They were drawn against Leinster Champions Enniscorthy Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. First on the tee was Paul Reavey with Stephen Coulter who beat Mark Murphy with Jason Rackard by 3-holes, they were followed by Ryan Gribben with Colm Campbell Jnr. who beat Graham Donohoe with James Buckley by 3-holes.
They met Munster Champions Tramore Golf Club in the All-Ireland Final the following day. First on the tee was Paul Reavey with Stephen Coulter who beat Chris Butler with Declan King by 1-hole, they were followed by Ryan Gribben with Colm Campbell Jnr. who halved their match against Alan Thomas with David Kiely.

Warrenpoint Golf Club was runners-up in the All-Ireland Irish Senior Cup at Castlerock Golf Club in September 2011. They beat Ardglass Golf Club in the Ulster Final by 3-matches to 2-matches.
They were drawn against Connaught Champions Co. Sligo Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. First on the tee was Paul Reavey who lost his match against Michael Durcan by 6 and 5. He was followed by David Barron who beat Steffan O’Hara by 4 and 3. Next up was Colm Campbell Jnr. Who had a very convincing 7 and 6 win over Gary McDermott. The penultimate match of Stephen Coulter was halved with Barry Anderson. The bottom match of Ryan Gribben against David Dunne was also a convincing 6 and 5 result for the Ulster Champions.

They met Leinster Champions Portmarnock in the All-Ireland Final. Portmarnock had defeated Munster Champions Muskerry Golf Club in their Semi-Final by 3-matches to 2-matches. They were led by Paul Reavey who lost out to James Fox by 2-holes. He was followed by David Barron against Geoff Lenehan who lost his match by 2 and 1. Next up was Colm Campbell Jnr. Who lost his match against John Greene by 3 and 2. The penultimate match of Stephen Coulter was halved against Michael Brett as was the bottom match of Ryan Gribben against Niall Goulding.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Jimmy Bruen Shield when they beat Tandragee Golf Club by 4-matches to 1-match at Moyola Park on Friday 12th August 2011.

They made their way to Castlerock Golf Club to compete in the All-Ireland deciders the following September, they were drawn against Leinster Champions Forrest Little Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final. First on the tee was David McGreevy with Raymond Jackson who won their match by 2 and 1 against Caolan Kennedy with Brian Duggan, next up was Gerry Durkin with Tim Cunningham who had a very convincing 6 and 5 win over Greg O'Riordan with Karl Kiernan, they were followed by John Hughes with Jack Gilsenan who lost out to Andrew Timmons with Mark Lacey by 3 and 2, the penultimate match of Hudson McGuffin with Jason Pepper went up the 19th before the crucial point went to the north Dublin pair of Tom Bent with Mick Timmons, in the bottom match Brendan McKernan with Ros Carvill went down to Noel Lyons with Jack Blake by 3 and 2.

 

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Final of the Irish Senior Cup at Monkstown Golf Club on Saturday 20th September 2008.

They won the Ulster Final and made the long journey to Monkstown Golf Club outside of Cork City where the met Connacht Champions County Sligo Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Friday 19th September 2008.

First on the tee was Paul Reavey against Gary McDermott, who won his match by 3 and 1, he was followed by Ryan Gribben against Michael Durcan, who went down by 2 and 1. Next up was Walker Cup star Paddy Gribben against Barry Anderson, when he returned a 2 and 1 win over the man from Rosses Point. The penultimate match saw another star Jim Carvill halve his match with Seryth Heavey, the bottom match of Colm Campbell record a comfortable 3 and 2 over David Dunne, and put the them into the All-Ireland Final against Munster Champions Castletroy Golf Club the following morning.

The format remained the same when Paul Reavey lead against Eamonn Haugh, who recorded a 3 and 2 win over the Limerick man. Ryan Gribben halved his match against Jason Tobin, he was again followed by Paddy Gribben who had a 2 and 1 win over Stephen Moloney. Jim Carvill halved his match against Cian Daly and Colm Campbell again had a convincing 5 and 3 win over John Kavanagh to give the Co. Down club their 3rd All-Ireland Irish Senior Cup.

Warrenpoint Golf Club retained the Ulster Championship in the Pierce Purcell Shield at Dunmurry Golf Club on Friday 15th August 2008. They made the long journey to Monkstown Golf Club on the outskirts of Cork City to defend the All-Ireland title and were drawn against Leinster Champions Royal Tara Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Thursday 18th September 2008.

They were lead by Seamus Sands with Damian Flanagan who had a very convincing 6 and 4 win over Michael Burke with Pat Martin. They were followed by Andrew Ferguson with Pat Devlin who had a 2 and 1 win over William Donnelly with Sean Duignan. Next up was Noel Devine with Seamus Pentony who lost out to Francis Collier with Joe Mahon by 5 and 3. Kieran Caldwell with Michael McGivern delivered the crucial 3rd point with a 2 and 1 win over Ray Reynolds with Brian Gaughran. The bottom match of Seamus Colgan with Raymond Jackson was halved with Des Foley with Paddy O’Brien. Their 3 ½ matches to 1 ½ matches gave them a comfortable passage into the All-Ireland Final the following morning against Munster Champions Limerick Golf Club.

Seamus Sands with Damian Flanagan again lead the defending champions against John Reilly with Declan Barriscale and again had a convincing 4 and 3 win over the men from the Royal County. They were followed by Andrew Ferguson with Paul Devlin who lost out by the narrowest of margins by 1-hole to Eamonn Grimes with Eamonn Kirby. Next up Vivian O’Loughlin with Raymond Jackson who halved their match against Robert Fleming with Ronan Mulvihill. The penultimate match of Kieran Caldwell with Michael McGivern saw the Munster men of Joe Kemmy with Denis Ryan record a 3 and 2 victory. The bottom match of Noel Devine with Seamus Pentony against John Gleeson and Gerard Gleeson also went against the Ulster Champions by 3 and 2. So defending their All-Ireland title was not to be.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Pierce Purcell Shield in 2007, and they were drawn against Munster Champions Woodstock Golf Club in the All-Ireland Semi-Final at Shandon Park Golf Club on Thursday 13th September.

First on the tee were Seamus Sands and Damian Flanagan against Steve Spencer and Mike Kelly who had a convincing 6 and 4 win over the Clare pair. They were followed by Seamus Colgan and Paul Devlin who halved their match against James Kelly and Jason Dormer. Next up was Noel Devine and Anthony Campbell who beat Noel Dinan and Liam O'Connor by 2-holes. The penultimate match of Kieran Caldwell and Andrew Ferguson was halved with Martin Nolan and Mike O'Brien. The anchor match of Michael Redmond and Michael McGivern against Tony Lawlor and James McMahon gave Warrenpoint a 3 and 1 win and a place in the All-Ireland Final the following day.

On the Friday they came up against Leinster Champions Donabate Golf Club who had accounted for Connacht Champions Barna Golf Club in their All-Ireland Semi-Final by 4 matches to 1 match.

First up on the tee were Seamus Sands and Damian Flanagan against Michael Fearon and Ciaran Kirwan and they provided another resounding 4 and 3 win over the north Dublin pair. They were followed by Seamus Colgan and Paul Devlin who won their match against Douglas Roberts and Austin Kealy by 1-hole. Next up was Noel Devine and Anthony Campbell who lost out to Ken Bradshaw and Brendan Bowe by 5 and 4. Andrew Ferguson and Kieran Caldwell played the penultimate match against Dermot Cullen and Pat McCrudden clinched Warrenpoint’s 3rd Pierce Purcell Shield. The bottom match of Michael Redmond and Michael McGivern against Colm Browne and Joe Dowling ended in a 3 and 2 win for Donabate, to give the Co. Down team a 3 matches to 2 matches win and yet another All-Ireland green pennant.

An amazing year for Jim Carvill winning both the South of Ireland and the East of Ireland. Darren Clarke was the the last man to win both (the East in 1989, the South in 1990) and look where he ended up! The last man to win both in the same year was Adrian Morrow from Portmarnock G. C. in 1983.

Warrenpoint Golf Club have a proud history in the Barton Shield having previously won it in 1983, 1988 and 1998 so it was to Rosslare Golf Club on Wednesday 14th September 2005 when they set out to capture their 4th green pennant in this the foursomes competition which in my opinion is the "real" Blue Riband in Irish Golf.

They met the holders and Leinster Champions Sutton Golf Club on the Wednesday Morning, managed by Paddy O’Hanlon he put Paul Reavey & Barrie Trainor out against Mark Collins & Seamus McMonagle, who won by 3-holes they were followed by Jim Carvill & Colm Campbell who lost by 1-hole to Alan Darbey & Sean Doherty, to give Warrenpoint a 2-hole victory.

They met Connacht Champions Galway in the All-Ireland Final in a trilling encounter that went to the 20th hole.

Barrie Trainor & Paul Reavey were out first against Eddie McCormack & John Neary when they recorded a 1-hole victory against the Galway duo. They were followed by Colm Campbell & Jim Carvill who lost by one hole to Joe Lyons & Mark O’Sullivan, the same pairings went down to the sudden death holes and the Warrenpoint pairing won it on the Par-3 second.

The squad was Garry McStay, Paul Reavey, Barrie Campbell, Barry Trainor, Jim Carvill.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Championship of the Irish Club Youths' Championship in 2005. The All-Ireland deciders were played at Kilkeel Golf Club, in this three man team event where they compete off scratch with the best two cards to count.

They were 3rd in the National decider with a score of 313. David Barron returned rounds of N/R and 80, Colm Campbell shot rounds of 75 and 79 and Paul Reavey had rounds of 83 and 76.

Angela Kilmartin was selected on the Ulster ILGU Team for the Interprovincial's. Played at Ballybunion Golf Club from 18th to 20th August 2004.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the Ulster Final of the Jimmy Bruen Shield in 2002, and where drawn against Leinster Champions The Island in the All-Ireland Semi-Finals at Galway Golf Club on September 6th. They went down to The Island in a very close match being decided on the 19th. The squad was Gerry Durkin, Colm Campbell Jnr., Kieran Gallagher, Kieran Murphy, David McGreevey, Gary Moan, Brian Magee, Leo McCabe and Peter Kenny, they were, captained by Pat Lynchehaun. The team on the day was G. Durkin with C. Campbell, K. Gallagher and K. Murphy, B. Powell with F. Quinn, T. Keenan with J. Murray and D. Greevey with G. Moan.

Alison Coffey won the Irish Close Championship and was selected on the Irish team for the European Team Championship played at Campo de Meis, Spain from the 10th to the 14th of July 2001. She was also on the Ulster Ladies team for the AIB Interprovincial’s at the Island Golf Club from the 8th to the 10th August 2001.

Prior to 2001:

Warrenpoint beat Banbridge in the Ulster Final of the Irish Junior Cup and went on to meet Monkstown in the All-Ireland semi-finals at Lahinch on 21st September 2000. The squad was Brendan O'Loughlin, Brian Powell, Paddy McGee, Brian McKee, Barry Treanor, Paul McCartan, Charlie Burns and Sam Grattan. They went down to Monkstown by one match in the Semi-Final. The team was Brian McKee, Paul McCartan, Paddy McGee, Brian Powell and Barry Treanor.

They won the All-Ireland Irish Mixed Foursomes at Limerick G. C. in 1991, when the squad was Ken Stevenson, Michael Carr, Colm Campbell, Rory McCormack, Teresa Murphy, P. Loughran, Ita Parr, Graine Fearon, Rosemary Thornton, Helen Lennon and they were captained by Pat Trainor.

Warrenpoint won the All-Ireland Irish Senior Cup at Westport G. C. in 1990, when the squad was, Ramie Burns, Paddy Gribben, Danny Parr, Kenny Stevenson, Gavin McNeill, Pat Trainor and they were captained by Rory McShane. 

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Irish Youths' Team Championship at Mullingar in 1989, when the squad was, Gavin McNeill, Ramie Burns, Paddy Gribben, Eddie Barr, Rory Buchanam and they were captained by Niel McCullough.

They won the All-Ireland Barton Shield at Athlone G. C. in 1998, when the squad was, Hillary Armstrong, Daren Rafferty, Paddy McGee, Paddy Gribben, Colm Campbell, Bobby Orr and they were captained by Paddy O'Hanlon.

Warrenpoint won the Barton Shield at Cork G. C. in 1988, when the squad was, Jim Carvill, Paddy Gribben, Danny Parr, Gary McNeill, Ken Stevenson and Ian Wright. They were Captained by Ray McShane.

They won the All-Ireland Pierce Purcell Shield at Royal Co. Down in 1983, when the squad was, David McGreevey, Kevin Morgan, Frank Fullen, Reggeie Eyres, Ray Morgan, Cyril Blakley, Larry Powell, John McMahon, Hugh Byrne, Seamus Ryan, Hugh Wray, Terry Carr, A. B. McLaughlin, Gervase McCartan and they were captained by Terry Carr.

They first won the All-Ireland Pierce Purcell Shield at Grange G. C. in 1981, when the squad was, Hugh Byrne, Brian Coffey, Ivor Kearney, Pat Lynchehaun, Ray Morgan, Dessie McCabe, Dominic McCartan, Brian McKeown, Pat McGuigan, Dominic McGivern, Pat Ryan, Robin Prescott, John Whitten, Hugh Carr, and they were captained by Tommy Keenan.

They won the All-Ireland Irish Senior Cup at Clandeboye in 1987, when the team was Jim Carvill, Paddy Gribben, Danny Parr, Gary McNeill, Ken Stevenson and Ian Wright. They were Captained by Ray McShane.

They won the All-Ireland Barton Shield at Clandeboye in 1987, when the team was Jim Carvill, Paddy Gribben, Danny Parr, Gary McNeill, Ken Stevenson and Ian Wright. They were Captained by Ray McShane.

They won the All-Ireland Jimmy Bruen Shield at Clandeboye G. C. in 1987, when the team was Cyril Blakley, Gregory Campbell, Aidan Durkin, Gerry Durkin, Pat McAteer, Kevin McCann, John McMahon, Robin Prescott, Seamus Ryan, Eamon Small, Ian Wright and Jim McDonnell. They were Captained by Pat Lynchehaun.

They won the All-Ireland Pierce Purcell Shield at Clandeboye G. C. in 1987, when the team was Tony McLoughlin, Danny Robertson, Seamus Ryan, Joe Stewart, Peadar Markey, Gerry Sands, Pat Lynchehaun, Brian Magee, Brian Murphy, Dominic McCartan, Paul McCartan and Jim McDonnell.

Warrenpoint Golf Club won the All-Ireland Irish Club Junior Foursomes in 1987 on their home course, when the squad was Eddie Barr, Raymond Burns, Paul McCartan, Niall McDonnell, Gary McNeill, Brian Powell and they were captained by Neil McCullough.

Warren point were the, Irish Aer-Lingus Club Youths' Team Championship 1982 Stephen Rafferty, Greg Campbell, Jim Carvill, Ray Morgan and they were captained by Pat Trainor.

Paddy Gribben was the only Irish representative on the Walker Cup team that beat the USA at Nairn G. C. on Sunday, 12th September, 1999 when winning a historic fifth victory in its 77-year history by a 15-9 margin. Having returned to the Amateur ranks, Paddy became the first Irishman to win the European Amateur Golf Championship at Le Golf Du Medoc in Bordeaux with a score of 274, being 10 under, playing off +3, he went on to win the North of Ireland Amateur Open Championship at Royal Portrush on 16th July, 1999, and was on the Home International team at Royal Co. Down on the 22nd-26th September 1999 He represented Ulster in 1995 and 1996, and played Ulster Youths' the same years.

Alison Coffey played in the European Ladies' Team Championship at Nordcentre Golf and Country Club in 1997, and was selected to play in the Home Internationals at Royal Dornoch in August 1999, having played at Burnham and Berrow in 1998, at Lahinch in 1997, at Longriddry in 1996 and Wrexham in 1995. She played in the European Ladies Junior Championship at the Colony Golf Club, Vienna in 1994, and at Saint Nom La Breteche, Franch in 1992, having played in the Girls Home Internationals at Whitechurch Golf Club in 1991.

Warrenpoint won the Ulster Section of the BMW Irish Mixed Foursomes and went on to represent Ulster at Strandhill G.C., on September 2nd-3rd, 1999. The team was Timmy Cunningham (5) & Teresa Reynolds (20), Colm Campbell (3) & Grainne Fearon (16), Bobby Orr (3) & Hazel Sherry (28), Rory Buchanan (5) & Cathy Cunningham (18) and Fergie McConaghy (7) & Peggy Gallagher (12).

He represented Ireland at international Youths level from1984 to 1995 playing 10-matches, won 4-match halved two and lost 4-match accumulating 10-points. He represented Ireland at Irish Boys level in 1983 playing 6-times won 5-matches and lost 1-match accumulating 10-points. History of Warrenpoint

Instituted 1893 affiliated 1894

The "Golfing Annual" 1894-95 lists Warrenpoint for the first time. It records a foundation date as 1893, with Major Hall as President and Colonel Cattell as Captain, with seventy-five members. It reports "The course of nine-holes is one minute's walk from Warrenpoint Railway Station. There are plenty of hazards in the shape of roads, ditches and hedges. There is a good clubhouse."

It would appear the club suffered a setback around 1897 to 1905 as the Golfing Annual 1904-5 reports "The course is being laid out on land belonging to Captain Hall D. L., J. P."

The "Irish Golfers Guide" 1910 records that the nine-hole course was five minutes' walk from the station, which would indicate that from its inception in 1893, the course was located very close to its original site. The Hall family were also very closely associated with the institution and revival of the club. In 1925, the course was extended to an eighteen-hole under the direction of Captain Lionel Hewson."
