This 18-hole, 6,930 yard, par 72, standard scratch 72 Championship course is set in 220 acres of beautiful mature parkland, overlooking Galgorm Castle, which was, built by Sir Faithful Fortescue in 1618 and is one of the finest examples of early Jacobean Architecture in Ireland.

Galgorm Castle is home of the Northern Ireland Open and hosts international premier golf tournaments annually.

Galgorm Castle Golf Club reached the All-Ireland Semi-Finals of the Irish Senior Cup at Carlow Golf Club on Thursday 29th August 2024 when they lost out to Castleknock Golf Club by 3-matches to 2-matches. They were led out by Harris Fleming who recorded a 2-hole win against Ian O'Connell, he was followed by Michael Reid who lost his match by the minimum against Paul Coughlan, next on the tee was Jordan Hood who had a comfortable 4 and 3 win against Ruairi Kennelly, in the penultimate match Cole Henderson lost his match against Quentin Carew by 4 and 2 and in the bottom match Patrick Dallat went up the 20th before relinquishing the point to Mark Doogue.
The previous day they met Roscommon Golf Club in the Quarter-Finals and won their match by 3-matches to 2-matches against the Club from the West. Harris Fleming led them out and went up the 19th before losing his match against Allan Hill, next up was Michael Reid who beat David Hill by 2 and 1, he was followed by Cole Henderson who lost his match by 2 and 1 against Richard Evans, in the penultimate match Jordan Hood had a comfortable 5 and 3 win against Alan Connaughton and in the bottom match Patrick Dallat clinched the point against Fionn Hoare with a 3 and 2 win.

Josh Hill was selected on the Irish Men’s Home Internationals that took place at Murcar Links, Scotland between 7th and 9th August 2024. The others on the team were Colm Campbell (Warrenpoint Golf Club), Sean Keeling (Roganstown Golf Club), Hugh Foley (The Royal Dublin Golf Club), Ryan Griffin (Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club), Thomas Higgins (Roscommon Golf Club), Paul Coughlan (Castleknock Golf Club), Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club) and Luke O'Neill (Connemara Golf Club) they were managed by Damien Coyne from Tuam Golf Club, coached by Michael Collins and captained by Niall MacSweeney from Athenry Golf Club. 

Galgorm Castle Golf Club were Runners-Up in the Final of the North Ulster Irish Senior Cup at Portstewart Golf Club on Sunday 9th July 2023 when they lost out to Royal Portrush Golf Club by 3-matches to 2-matches.
They were led out by Michael Reid who went up the 19th before securing the point against Paul Cutler, he was followed by Jorden Hood who lost out by 3 and 2 against Richard McCrudden, next on the tee was Jamie Sutherland who had a 1-holw win against Matthew McAlpin, in the penultimate match Patrick Dallat lost by the minimum against William Beattie and in the bottom match Joshua Hill brought Patrick McCrudden up the 20th before relinquishing the point and the pennant.   

The Boys’ from Galgorm Castle Golf Club reached the Semi-Finals of the Boys’ Foursomes on Wednesday 30th August 2023 at Castletroy Golf Club when they lost out to Monkstown Golf Club by 2-holes.
In the top match Josh Nicholl (0) with Brendan Mulgrew (4) lost their match by 4-holes against Cian McDonnell (2) with Jack Morrison (5) and in the bottom match Cole Henderson (2) with Rory Brown (10) had a 2-hole win against Ronan O’Keeffe (1) with Callum O’Farrell (12).
They met the Boys’ from Co. Louth Golf Club in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals the previous day and had to go up the 19th before securing the passage ti the Semi-Finals.
They were led out by Josh Nicholl (0) with Zac Kane (11) who had a 3-hole win against Jack McKenna (0) with Louis Goodman (1) and in the other match Cole Henderson (2) with Rory Brown (10) lost their match by a similar margin against Gavin Tiernan (+5) with Daniel O’Brien (4), hence the play-off.

The Girls’ from Galgorm Castle Golf Club reached the All-Ireland Quarter-Final of the Girls’ Inter-Club Championship on Tuesday 29th August at Castletroy Golf Club when they lost out to Forrest Little Golf Club by 2½-matches to ½-match.
In the top match Mollie Blair (9) lost her match against Grace Dowdall (16) by 4 and 3, she was followed by Ruby Chambers (15) who lost out by 2 and 1 against Emma McDonagh (18) and the bottom match between Aimmie Watt (27) against Amelia Penrose (19) was halved.

Joshua Hill was selected on the Irish team for the Octagonal Matches at Costa Ballena, Spain, on 25th to 28th January 2023, the others on the team were Rob Brazzil (Naas Golf Club) Hugh Foley (The Royal Dublin Golf Club), Matt McClean (Malone Golf Club), Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club) and Peter O'Keeffe (Douglas Golf Club) they were coached by Michael Collins assisted by Mary Doyle and captained by Niall MacSweeney.

Joshua Hill was selected to play in the Brabazon Trophy on the New Course at Sunningdale Golf Club, Berkshire, from 25th to the 28th May 2023, the others on the squad were Robert Brazill (Naas Golf Club), Robert Moran (Castle Golf Club), Hugh Foley (The Royal Dublin Golf Club), Alex Maguire (Laytown & Bettystown Golf Club), Matt McClean (Malone Golf Club), Sean Keeling (Roganstown Golf Club) and Liam Nolan (Galway Golf Club) they were captained by Niall MacSweeney from Athenry Golf Club.

Jordan Hood was selected on the Ulster Interprovincial Championship team at Moyvalley Golf Club from Tuesday 29th August to Thursday 31st August 2023.
Other members of the team were Fionn Dobbin (Malone Golf Club), Lewis Gowdy (Bangor Golf Club), Cian Harkin (Letterkenny Golf Club), James Hewitt (Tandragee Golf Club), Darcy Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Shane McDermott (Slieve Russell Golf Club) and Rory Williamson (Holywood Golf Club).
They were Captained by Rory Leonard (Banbridge Golf Club) and Managed by Peter Waddell (Knock Golf Club).

Paul Fletcher was selected on the Irish Boys’ team for the Quadrangular Matches played at Kennemer Golf & Country Club in Zandvoort, Netherlands on 5th and 6th April 2023, the others on the team were Finlay Eager (Royal Belfast Golf Club), Calum Duane (Naas Golf Club), Sean Reddy (Douglas Golf Club), Gordon Sillett (Ballykisteen Golf Club) and Adam Fahey (Seapoint Golf Club) they were coached by Ian Kearney and captained by Liam Troy.

Harris Fleming was selected on the Irish U-16 High performance panel for 2023/2024, the others on the panel were Eoin Burrows (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Niall Conneely and Isaac Oliver (Ballinasloe Golf Club), Adam Fahey and John Moran (Portmarnock Golf Club), John William Burke (Ballyhaunis Golf Club), Jack McKenna (Co Louth Golf Club), Harry O'Hara (Clandeboye Golf Club) and William Walshe (Delgany Golf Club).

Galgorm Castle Golf Club qualified for the All-Ireland Barton Shield deciders played at Tramore Golf Club on Thursday 1st September 2022.
They were drawn against Cork Golf Club in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals and lost out by 4-holes.
First on the tee was Jordan Hood with Michael Read who had a 1-hole win against Ian O’Rourke with Brian Kelleher, they were followed by Steven Penny with Kaeden Anderson who lost their match by 5-holes against Gary O’Flaherty with Morgan Cain.  

Jordan Hood  and Joshua Hill was selected on the Ulster Interprovincial team that played at Moyvalley Golf Club from 23rd to 25th August 2022, the others on the squad were Ryan Griffin (Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club), Cian Harkin (Letterkenny Golf Club), Shane McDermott (Slieve Russell Golf Club), Ross Latimer (Clandeboye Golf Club), James Hewitt (Tandagree Golf Club) and Aaron Marshall (Lisburn Golf Club) they were managed by Peter Waddell from Knock Golf Club and captained by Rory Leonard from Banbridge Golf Club.

Paul Fletcher was selected on the Ulster Under-14 team to participate in the Interprovincial Championships at Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club from 18th and 19st July 2022, the others on the squad were Eoin Burrows (Belvoir Park Golf Club), David Lyttle (Castlerock Golf Club), Scott McCabe (Massereene Golf Club), Ollie McEvoy (Ballycastle Golf Club) and Barry McMenamin (Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club) the non-travelling Reserve was Harry O’Hara (Clandeboye Golf Club) they were managed by James Sweeney from Dunfanaghy Golf Club and captained by Bruce Hogg from Belvoir Park Golf Club.    

Joshua Hill was selected to represent the Irish Boys’ team at the Home Internationals at Woodhall Spa, England from 4th to 6th August 2021, the others on the squad were Adam Challoner and Luke Cunningham (Galway Bay Golf Club), Darcy Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Patrick Keeling (Roganstown Golf Club), Alex King (Faithlegg Golf Club), Thomas Higgins (Roscommon Golf Club) and Gavin O’Neill (Malahide Golf Clun) they were coached by Stephen Hood and captained by Alasdair Gibson from Knock Golf Club.   

Jordan Hood and Michael Reid were selected to represent Ulster in the Men’s Interprovincial Matches at Shannon Golf Club from 25th to 27th August 2021, the others on the squad were James Hewitt (Tandragee Golf Club), Gareth Lappin (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Aaron Marshall (Lisburn Golf Club), Kyle McCarron (North West Golf Club), Matthew McClean (Malone Golf Club) and Shane McDermott (Slieve Russell Golf Club) they were managed by John McKinstry from Cairndhu Golf Club and captained by Gerry McAleese from Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Joshua Hill and Kaeden Anderson was selected to represent Ulster on the Boys’ Under-18 Interprovincial Team at Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Resort on October 9th and 10th October 2021, the others on the squad were Max Carson (Royal Belfast Golf Club), Alex Darrah (Royal Portrush Golf Club), Robbie Davidson (Knock Golf Club), Luke Kelly (Belvoir Park Golf Club) and Padraig O'Dochartaigh (Gweedore Golf Club) they were managed by Jeff Forde from Tandragee Golf Club and captained by Tony Cassidy from Dunmurry Golf Club.

Paul Fletcher was selected to represent Ulster on the Boys’ Under-14 Interprovincial Team at Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Resort on October 9th and 10th October 2021, the others on the squad were Finley Eager (Royal Belfast Golf Club), Evan Hogg (Belvoir Park Golf Club), Scott McCabe (Masseereene Golf Club), Stuart Nesbitt (Royal Portrush Golf Club) and Charlie Smyth (Slieve Russell Golf Club) they were managed by Trevor Lewers from Portstewart Golf Club and captained by Damien Montague from Fintona Golf Club.

Galgorm Castle Golf Club won the Ulster Championship in the Irish Junior Foursomes in 2004 when the team was, Philip Graham, Alan Goodrich, Jonathan Rodgers, Liam Reilly, Andrew Duncan and J. J. McAnally.

Members who played representative golf for Country or Province;

Liam Reilly represented Ireland at Irish Boys level from 2005 to 2006 playing 10-times won 5-matches and lost 5-matches accumulating 10-points. He represented Ulster at the Boys Interprovincial Championships from 2004 to 2007 playing 17-times won 11-matches and lost 6-matches accumulating 22-points;

Philip Graham and Liam Reilly were selected on the Ulster team for the Boys' Interprovincial Championships at Warrenpoint from 25th to 27th August 2004.
