2023 Irish Junior Cup Winning Teams

Junior Cup Winning Teams

Inaugurated in 1900 the Irish Junior Cup comprises of teams of five who's members were players off at least 5 late the previous year. The teams play Five Single Matches off scratch. John Ball Jnr. adorns the lid, a member of Royal Liverpool he had an illustrious amateur carrier wining the British Amateur Championship in 1888, 1890, 1892, 1894, 1899, 1902, 1909 and 1912. He won the Irish Amateur Open Championship in 1893, 1894 and 1899. In 1890 he won the Open Championship as an Amateur.
