2024 Irish Senior Cup Winning Teams

Irish Senior Cup Teams

Inaugurated in 1900 the Irish Senior Cup is considered the "Blue Riband" of Irish Amateur Golf. Each club selects its five best available golfers who compete in singles Matchplay against their opponents playing off scratch. The figure mounted on top of the Senior Cup is that of Fred Tait, who was a member of the Royal & Ancient. Fred won the British  Amateur Championship in 1896 and 1898 and was runner-up on four occasions, 1893, 1894, 1895 and 1899.
