Glenmalure Golf Club was founded in 1991 and designed by Pat Suttle it is an magnificent 18-hole Parkland set deep in "The Garden of Ireland. Although somewhat hilly its features are mature trees, gorse and hedges, water comes into play on the 9th fairway.

Measuring 5,675 yards off the blue stakes it is relatively short with a Par 71 and a standard scratch of 66 it is a fine test of golf where club selection is most important to navigate your way around this most picturesque golf course.

Members Achievements

Congratulations to the Glenmalure South Leinster Team who have made club history by winning the trophy for the first time ever.  After defeating, Boystown (Preliminary Round), Edenderry, 'The Heritage' and Blainroe, Glenmalure took on Clane in the Semi-Finals and after a closely fought battle. 2 Home Wins and 2 Away Wins saw the Club through to it's first ever Leinster Final.  The final was held on 9th September in Carlow Golf Club with near neighbours Coollattin the opposition on the day.  The Glenmalure team performed magnificently and had an emphatic win by producing some outstanding golf.  It was a great team effort and special thanks to the entire the team consisting of: Seamie O'Neill, Mick Gavin, John Noctor, Ger Ryder, Bobby Dignam, Richard Dignam, Declan Brady (Player Manager), Subs: Seamus McDonald, Tony Kirwan and Dermot Connolly.
