Jameson Golf Links golf club Dublin
Jameson Golf Links Golf Course
There were very few locations in Europe that could have allowed scope to design such a classic championship links." ...Bernhard Langer.
Re named in October 2023 Jameson Golf Links formley known as The Portmarnock Links opened to great acclaim in June 1995 and has been receiving accolades from visiting golf writers and top professionals ever since. Designer Bernhard Langer has produced a classic masterpiece to rival any of the great Irish and Scottish courses. Inspirational use of natural dunes-land features, the creative use of elevated tees and greens, acutely angled doglegs and ninety-eight strategically placed bunkers test the most accomplished players. Each individual hole presents its own exacting challenge.

History of Jameson Golf Links
The Links Portmarnock was the first golf course that International Management Group (IMG) developed in Ireland and opened for play in 1995. It was therefore fitting that Bernhard Langer chose this magnificent setting to design his first links course being a three time winner of the Irish Open at nearby Portmarnock Golf Club and The Royal Dublin Golf Club. Along with architect Stan Eby they have designed a course that is a challenge for all golfers, set in the grounds of the old Jameson estate of St Marnocks
the Links has played host to professional and amateur events including 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open.
